C-9 Aromatic Solvent is a petroleum-derived aromatic hydrocarbon solvent widely used as a versatile raw material and solvent across several industrial applications. C-9 aromatic hydrocarbons are composed primarily of aromatic compounds containing nine carbon atoms and are commonly associated with C9/C10/C12 aromatic hydrocarbon streams used in industrial chemical and resin applications.

C-9 Aromatic Solvent typically has a distinctive aromatic odour and ranges from dark yellow to dark brown in appearance, with a typical Gardner colour of approximately 6–10, depending on the product grade and composition.

The product is insoluble in water and generally has limited solubility in lower alcohols and ketones, while showing good compatibility with aliphatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents. These properties make C-9 Aromatic Solvent suitable for applications requiring strong solvency and compatibility with hydrocarbon-based formulations.
